Day 1: Day 1: Calicut to WayanadYour driver arrives at your hotel, railway station or airport at 8:00 am. After a quick breakfast in Calicut, you head towards Thamarassery. By 9:30 am you start the climb on the Thamarassery Churam, with its famous hairpin bends and forest views. Take your time here, as the road is winding and the scenery is worth enjoying. At 10:30 am you reach Lakkidi View Point, the gateway to Wayanad. On clear mornings you can see wide valley views, and when mist rolls in, the place feels almost magical. Spend about 45 minutes for photographs and a hot tea. Around 12:00 pm you continue towards Vythiri and Kalpetta, stopping for lunch at a local restaurant to try Kerala meals or Malabar-style dishes. You check in at your hotel or resort by 2:00 pm and rest. At 4:00 pm we take you to a nearby plantation road or viewpoint for a slow evening. You can pick up spices, coffee and tea from local shops. At 2:30 pm you head to Edakkal Caves on Ambukuthi Hills. A short drive and a stepped climb take you to ancient rock carvings and sweeping views. Allow around two hours, and carry water. Day 3: Day 3: Waterfall Visit and Return to CalicutEnjoy a slow breakfast and check out at 8:00 am.
