Day 1: Pune → Shirdi – Shani Shingnapur - PunePune to Shirdi is about 185 km, and Shirdi to Shani Shingnapur is another 70 km. The full round trip is roughly 430 km, so an early start is essential. 3:30 AM: Depart from Pune Drive via Ahmednagar (Ahilyanagar) towards Shirdi. Stop for chai and breakfast around 6:30 AM. 8:00 AM: Arrive in Shirdi Freshen up and keep your mobiles and bags in the lockers, as they are not allowed inside the temple. 8:30 AM: Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir Darshan Allow 1 to 2 hours in the queue. An online darshan pass from Sai Sansthan saves time. 10:30 AM: Dwarkamai, Chavadi and Gurusthan Visit Dwarkamai and the sacred Dhuni, then Chavadi, and the neem tree at Gurusthan nearby. 12:00 PM: Prasad Lunch Have a simple meal at the Sai Prasadalaya before the next leg. 12:30 PM: Drive to Shani Shingnapur The drive takes about 1.5 hours through scenic countryside. 2:00 PM: Shani Shingnapur Darshan This village is famous for its open-air, self-manifested black stone idol of Lord Shani, which stands without a roof or temple structure. The village is also known for houses with no doors, a tradition rooted in faith. Devotees of all genders can offer oil and worship.
