With an early start, you can complete darshan and return home the same night. 3:30 AM: Depart from Pune Take the Pune-Ahmednagar road towards Shirdi. Stop for chai and breakfast near Ahmednagar (Ahilyanagar) around 6:30 AM. 8:30 AM: Arrive in Shirdi and freshen up Rest briefly at a hotel or the Sai Baba Sansthan devotee facilities. Mobiles and bags are not allowed inside the temple, so keep them in the lockers. 9:30 AM: Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir Darshan Allow 1 to 2 hours in the queue on regular days. Booking an online darshan pass from Sai Sansthan in advance saves time. 12:00 PM: Madhyan Aarti If you are inside the temple at noon, attend the aarti. It is a peaceful and memorable experience. 12:30 PM: Dwarkamai and Chavadi Visit Dwarkamai, where Sai Baba lived, and see the sacred Dhuni that has burned continuously. Chavadi, where Baba rested on alternate nights, is nearby. 1:30 PM: Prasad Lunch Enjoy a simple, hygienic meal at the Sai Prasadalaya, or choose a local restaurant. 2:30 PM: Nearby sightseeing Gurusthan: the neem tree spot where Baba was first seen.
