Kerala Tour Package From Pune

Day 1: Day 1: Pune to Kochi and drive to MunnarAfter reaching Kochi from Pune, your driver meets you at the airport or railway station. This itinerary assumes you arrive by about 9:00 to 10:00 am. If you arrive later, we adjust the stops. After a quick breakfast, you leave at 10:30 am for Munnar, a drive of around 4 to 4.5 hours with breaks. The road gradually climbs into the Western Ghats, and the temperature drops as you go. Around 12:30 pm you stop at Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls, which are at their best in and just after the monsoon. Lunch is at a local restaurant on the way, where you can try Kerala meals or simple vegetarian dishes. By 2:30 pm you reach Munnar and check in at your hotel or resort. Rest for a while, and at 4:30 pm we take you to a nearby tea garden viewpoint for an easy walk. The evening light over the hills is lovely, and you can pick up fresh tea and homemade chocolates from local shops. By 6:00 pm you return to your stay for hot tea, dinner and an early night. Overnight in Munnar.

Day 2: Day 2: Munnar sightseeingAfter breakfast, you leave at 8:00 am. The first stop is Eravikulam National Park, where a short shuttle ride takes you towards the hills where the Nilgiri tahr is found. The park closes for several weeks every year during the calving season, so if it is closed, we replace it with a viewpoint or a plantation visit. Allow around two hours. At 11:00 am you reach Mattupetty Dam, a calm reservoir surrounded by tea estates. Walk along the edge and enjoy the cool air. Boating is optional. Around 12:00 pm you visit Echo Point, a scenic spot where you can test the echo across the valley. Lunch is at 1:00 pm. At 2:30 pm you visit the Tea Museum, which explains how tea is grown and processed in the hills. You can sample fresh tea and shop for packets to take home. At 4:00 pm you stop at a scenic viewpoint such as Kundala or Top Station, depending on weather and road conditions. By 6:00 pm you return to your stay for dinner and rest. Overnight in Munnar.

Day 3: Day 3: Munnar to ThekkadyEnjoy a relaxed breakfast and check out around 8:30 am. The drive to Thekkady takes about 3.5 to 4 hours, passing cardamom hills, small towns and winding roads. Take your time and enjoy the views. Around 12:30 pm you reach the Kumily area and stop for lunch. At 2:00 pm you check in at your hotel or resort and rest. At 3:30 pm you visit a spice plantation, where a local guide shows you cardamom, pepper, cloves, cinnamon and other crops. You can buy fresh spices and Ayurvedic products if you like. Around 5:30 pm you return and freshen up. In the evening, you can attend a Kathakali or Kalaripayattu show, which gives you a taste of Kerala's traditional arts. Tickets are paid directly. Dinner and overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 4: Day 4: Periyar boating and Alleppey houseboatAn early start gives the best chance of seeing wildlife. After breakfast, you reach Periyar Tiger Reserve around 8:00 am for a boat ride on the lake. Sightings of elephants, deer, wild boar and birds are possible, but never guaranteed. Boat tickets are issued by the forest department and are subject to availability, so we suggest early arrival. By 10:30 am you check out and begin the drive towards Alleppey, which takes about 4 hours. You pass through Kottayam and the edge of the backwater region. Around 12:30 pm you stop for a quick lunch, or have it served on the houseboat if timings match. You reach the Alleppey jetty around 1:30 pm and board your houseboat. As you cruise through palm-lined canals, you see village life along the banks: fishermen, small shops and children waving from the shore. By 6:00 pm the boat is moored, the sky turns orange and dinner is served on board. Overnight on the houseboat.

Day 5: Day 5: Alleppey to KochiAfter breakfast on the houseboat, you disembark around 9:00 am. Your driver meets you at the jetty and drives you to Kochi, about 1.5 to 2 hours away. By 11:30 am you check in at your hotel or leave your bags, depending on the timing. At 1:00 pm you have lunch, and by 2:30 pm you begin exploring Fort Kochi. Walk around the Chinese fishing nets, St. Francis Church and Jew Town with its antique shops and spice markets. Some museums and palaces, such as Mattancherry Palace, have fixed weekly closing days, so we plan around that. At 5:00 pm you head to the beach or Marine Drive for sunset. By 6:00 pm you are free to shop for souvenirs or relax by the water. Dinner and overnight stay in Kochi.

Day 6: Day 6: Kochi to PuneAfter a leisurely breakfast, you check out at your convenience. Depending on your flight or train time, your driver takes you to the airport or railway station. If you have extra time, you can do some last-minute shopping for spices, banana chips, coffee and cashews. We suggest reaching the airport at least 2.5 to 3 hours before departure. The trip ends with a bag of Kerala flavours and plenty of memories.
