Day-wise itinerary

Day 1: Day 1: Bangalore to Hampi via ChitradurgaYour Wonder India Cab Trip Zone driver picks you up at 6:00 AM from your home or hotel in Bangalore. Have breakfast at a highway restaurant around 8:30 AM. At 10:30 AM, reach Chitradurga and visit the Chitradurga Fort, a massive hill fort with seven layers of walls, old temples and rock formations. Spend about 90 minutes here. Have lunch at 12:30 PM at a local restaurant, then continue towards Hampi, about 4 hours further. Reach by 4:30 PM, check in and rest. At 5:15 PM, drive to Hemakuta Hill or walk to the Tungabhadra riverside for a gentle sunset view over the ruins. Return by 6:30 PM and have dinner at a local cafe or hotel restaurant. Overnight stay in Hampi.
Day 2: Day 2: Hampi Local SightseeingHave breakfast at 7:00 AM and leave by 8:00 AM while the light is soft and the heat is low. Begin at the Virupaksha Temple and Hampi Bazaar, spending about 90 minutes. At 9:45 AM, see the Sasivekalu Ganesha and Kadalekalu Ganesha statues. At 11:00 AM, visit the Vittala Temple complex and the Stone Chariot, taking around 90 minutes to see the halls and the musical pillars. Have lunch at 1:00 PM and rest at the hotel through the hottest hours. At 3:30 PM, visit the Royal Enclosure, including the Mahanavami Dibba, Hazara Rama Temple and the Queen's Bath. At 4:45 PM, see the Lotus Mahal and the Elephant Stables. By 6:00 PM, return to the hotel. Evening is free for a riverside walk and local food. Overnight stay in Hampi.
Day 3: Day 3: Hampi to Badami via Pattadakal and AiholeHave breakfast and check out by 8:00 AM. Drive about 3 hours towards Pattadakal, with a tea break on the way. Reach Pattadakal by 11:00 AM and spend about 75 minutes exploring the UNESCO World Heritage temple complex, including the Virupaksha and Sangameshwara temples. At 12:30 PM, drive 20 minutes to Aihole and have lunch at a local restaurant. At 2:00 PM, walk through the Durga Temple, Lad Khan Temple and the small museum, spending around 90 minutes. At 3:45 PM, drive about 45 minutes to Badami, reach by 4:30 PM, check in and freshen up. At 5:00 PM, visit the Bhutanatha temples and the Agastya Lake shore for the evening light. Return by 6:00 PM. Dinner and overnight stay in Badami.
Day 4: Day 4: Badami to BangaloreHave an early breakfast and leave your hotel by 7:30 AM. At 8:00 AM, visit the Badami Cave Temples, climbing the steps to the four caves. Spend around 90 minutes here, as the carvings of Vishnu, Shiva and the Jain caves are worth slow viewing. If time allows, take a short look at the Badami Fort and the Archaeological Museum. At 10:00 AM, begin the drive back to Bangalore, about 9 hours away, with a lunch stop near Hospet or Chitradurga at around 1:00 PM and a tea break in the afternoon. Expect to reach Bangalore by around 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM, depending on traffic. Your driver drops you at your preferred location. For a lighter last day, we suggest adding one more night at Badami or Hospet, and we can customise that for you.
