Bangalore To Wayanad 3Day Trip

Day 1: Day 1: Bangalore to Wayanad (about 6 to 7 hours drive)Your cab arrives at your doorstep around 6:30 to 7:00 am. Settle in, keep a water bottle handy, and take the Mysore Road out of the city. The first leg is smooth highway, and by 9:30 am you reach Mysuru for a hearty South Indian breakfast. If you are a fan of filter coffee, this is a good place to stock up. At 10:30 am you continue towards Gundlupet and enter the Bandipur–Muthanga forest belt. The road is lined with thick forest on both sides, so keep your eyes open for deer, langurs and the occasional elephant. Please don't stop in the forest stretch or feed animals, as this is not allowed. Around 1:00 pm you cross into Kerala and reach Wayanad, where we stop for a simple lunch at a local restaurant. By 2:30 pm you check in at your hotel or resort and rest. At 4:30 pm, once the heat eases, we head to Lakkidi View Point or the town area for a relaxed evening. You can watch the light change over the hills, pick up local spices and homemade chocolates, and return by 6:00 pm to unwind. Dinner and overnight stay in Wayanad.

Day 2: Day 2: Full Day Wayanad SightseeingAfter breakfast, we set out at 8:00 am. The first stop is Edakkal Caves, best visited early before crowds build. A short drive and a moderate climb take you to the caves, where prehistoric carvings give the visit a historical feel. Allow about 90 minutes. At 10:30 am we move to Banasura Sagar Dam, India's largest earthen dam of its type. You can walk along the embankment, take in the island-dotted reservoir and enjoy the hill views. Speedboat rides, where available, are optional and paid directly. Lunch is at 1:00 pm at a local restaurant, where you can try Kerala meals, appam or biryani. At 2:30 pm we visit Pookode Lake, a calm freshwater lake ringed by forest. Take a slow walk, try a pedal boat and enjoy the cooler air. If time and conditions allow, we can add a plantation stop or a waterfall viewpoint depending on your interest and local access. By 5:00 pm we begin heading back, and you can browse local shops for tea, coffee and spices on the way. You return to the hotel by 6:00 pm. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Day 3: Wayanad to BangaloreWake up slowly. After a leisurely breakfast and check-out around 8:00 am, you can choose one last stop depending on your mood. Popular options are a plantation walk, a short visit to a viewpoint or some last-minute shopping for spices and homemade treats. We suggest keeping this short so you are not rushed on the road. At 10:00 am the cab begins the return drive. You pass again through the forest belt in daytime, which gives you another chance to see wildlife. Around 1:00 pm we break for lunch near Gundlupet or Mysuru, and then continue to Bangalore. Depending on traffic, you reach the city between 5:00 and 6:00 pm, where we drop you at your doorstep. Trip ends with plenty of memories and a few bags of coffee.
